The Government of Ms. Peters' 8th Period Class Decides

Once upon a time on a cloudy day on November 9th in the windowless interior room of Ms. Peters' classroom during 8th period, it was a normal day, a picture of Justin Trudeau (the prime minister of Canada and Ms. Peters' boyfriend) sat in perfection on her file cabinet and clocks of all different times ticked by. We were learning about Mexico or "The United Mexican States".

From the corner near the Zen garden, someone called out "I don't think I'll ever call it 'The United Mexican Nations'. It's just Mexico to me, it doesn't feel natural". The class volume increased as we all expressed our opinions on the situation to each other until someone raised their voice above the rest and said "It should be officially 'Mexico' from now on".

Another person jumped in quietly to their friend but repeated louder to be heard "It has been decided by the 'Government of Ms. Peters' Class'" turning the topic slightly and then we continued to chat amongst ourselves deciding that it would instead be "The Government Of Ms. Peters 8th Period Class" because the other classes weren't there and didn't help with making the decision, thereby ruling them out of the government.

Ms. Peters somehow brought the crazy class to a quieter level so she could finish the lesson. And we never got to email the Government Of The United Mexican States telling them to change their name at once. We created a government nonetheless! We later became an independent country and took over the small island that popped up in Japan recently.
