Squeaky Spotless School

March has finally approached us, and I know that everyone probably loves this school and appreciates it. Our school has become way dirtier and messier, are janitors have been working hard, but it is also our job to keep this school clean as well. Everyday when you walk through the halls do you ever notice all the paper and trash on the grounds, well at the end or the day the custodians have to clean up the trash that we left.

Paper Problem

Have you ever passed by a locker or classroom and notice a piece of paper on the ground? Well this happens almost everywhere in the school! There are posit notes, scrap papers, worksheets, and more. I bet you when you see these papers you don't even think about picking it up you just let it sit there for the rest of the day until the janitors come around and clean the halls. Although lots of the paper problem is partly our fault, it's not entirely, some of it comes from fliers, project that have been hung up, etc. Even though these paper-based items are yours it would not hurt to pick on up once in a while, if it's a scrap throw it out, if it's a project return it to a teacher. By doing all these things we could shorten the paper problem or even stop it, but it is up to us to do these things so that it does stop.

Trouble with Trash

As you are walking with your friends form class to class, I bet you have never seen how much trash is in the hallways. Maybe In the morning there's not a lot because the custodians clean all of it up, but at the end of the day we are back where we started. Even though it is the janitors' job to keep the schools clean, every once in awhile pick up a piece of trash so that they can have a little break. There're wrappers, plastic bags, napkins/tissues, etc. Lastly, when you see any kind of trash or garbage be sure to pick it up even though it isn't yours, we need to make sure we are not relying on our custodians and that we clean up after ourselves.

As you can see this is a problem in our school, and I very much believe that we don't treat our school with respect. All that needs to be done is little cleaning up, even though a piece of trash or paper is not yours be sure to pick it up, because that little piece will make a huge difference. Finally, I thank all the people who already do this, but still are school is still be trashed and it is up to us to stop that.
