History of Orchestra:

Orchestra is an instrumental ensemble that performs many themes of music. The word orchestra originates from the greek root orchestra, part of an ancient greek theatre in front of proscencelium. Antecedents of the symphonies of modern orchestra about 1600. Johaan Stamitz and other composers in what is known as the Mannheim School established the basic composition of the modern symphony orchestra. It was made up of four sections, woodwinds consisting of flutes, oboes, and bassons, Brass, horns and trumpets, Percussion two timpani, and strings; violin, cello, bass, and viola. In the 19th century the orchestra was modernized, focusing on developing modern instruments like trumpet and clarinet and getting rid of lutes, harpischords, and theorbo.

History of Band:

A group of ensemble musicians who play a variety of themes including pop, rock, jazz, and latin. Band originated in 15th century Germany consisting of oboes and bassons formed part of parpharilla military life. Militias would play symbols, and brass instruments to indicate the beginning of battle. In the 1800's in England brass bands with loud instruments began to replace the earlier church bands. Today modern artists revoltunized solos in band which is way more common then the modern orchestra. The modern band instruments include the woodwinds with flutes, oboes, and clarinets, then brass with trumpets, trombones, baritones, and tubas, finally percussion instruments including xylophone, vibraphone, timpany, and piano.
