Know Your Meme

Humanity's greatest invention, besides the wheel, is probably memes. For thousands of years, we have been finding new ways to communicate. Wall paintings, then talking, and then tagging each other in memes we found on TikTok or Youtube. Here are some of the greatest memes of all time.
What is a meme?
Now, before I rant about some memes, what exactly is one? Well, by definition, a meme is a photo/video that is posted throughout the internet. Things like the recent, "Napoleon" meme (paired with the song, "Amour Plastique") or the, "Smurf Cat" (Paired with the song, "Spectre" by Alan walker) which were posted on the internet HUNDREDS of times.

Now, when the internet was new, cats were all the buzz. The infamous "Grumpy Cat", one of the greatest cat memes of all time, made about $99.5 MILLION. As thought by many people,
Grumpy Cat is a he. But the cat was actually female.. Sadly, she died in May of 2019.

The "Trollface" meme is a good one. It is usually used in the, "You've been trolled" meme. It was uploaded to "DeviantART" on December 8th, 2008! So long ago!

Distracted boyfriend
The distracted boyfriend is quite an infamous meme. It's a picture of a boyfriend, you guessed it, distracted by another girl, so his girlfriend is mad. It was uploaded to the internet in 2015 by a man named Antonio Guillem.
Conclusion
In the end, there are many memes. Far more than I can put here and still keep you interested. But memes are amazing like that. So many memes to look at. But that's all for today.
