NASA's Voyagers

NASA's engineers continue painting the future for humanity with Voyager 1, the farthest man made object from Earth. In November 2026 Voyager 1 will be officially one light day away from earth. Voyager 1 was launched in 1977 to give images of Jupiter and Saturn, but after that, the voyager was sent to go farther and now is about 15.8 billion miles from earth (24 billion kilometers). Since the probe is about to be in the heliospace (Where the sun has no effect on the probe) It will soon take 24 hours to get a command to the probe.

After Voyager 1, NASA made Voyager 2 that was sent to get images of Uranus and Neptune. Voyager 2 is about 13.2 billion miles (21.2 billion kilometers) from Earth and a command takes 19.5 hours to get to the Voyager. Voyager 2 has what we call a golden record in it and the record has every word for over 600 different languages so that if thousands of years later the voyager gets in contact with any form of intelligent alien life, the aliens can learn languages and be able to communicate if they come to earth.
