FMS Library

The library. What do you think of when we say the library? We think of the amazing books, and Ms. Lehmann, the outstanding librarian. Some people might think of it as the place to play computer games during lunch, or the place where you do research projects. But, truth be told, it is so much more. We decided to interview Ms. Lehmann to get the scoop. During our interview, we learned lots more about the library. There are actually over 18,000 books in there, and two of the most popular books and authors currently are To All The Boys I've Loved Before (Jenny Han), and books by Alan Gratz, which include Refugee and Prisoner B-3087. When asked Ms. Lehmann says two of her favorite books in the library are The False Prince, and Pride and Prejudice. The False Prince is an amazing trilogy and Pride and Prejudice is an emotional romance book, feel free to check at these awesome books at the library. A fact that you might not be aware of is that at the FMS library you can borrow books from other libraries. So next time you decided you want a book that's not in the library don't worry, you'll be able to get it from a different school. Not many people know this, yet it is such a helpful tool. To wrap up our interview, we asked Ms. Lehmann about her favorite and least favorite parts of the library. Her favorite part (and we totally agree with her) is the quiet reading area; on the other hand, her least favorite part is checking out chargers to people. So, next time you need a book or just a quiet place to read, go explore the FMS library.
