The Star of David: A Secret Sign

In Jewish religion, one of the biggest icons is a six-pointed star called The Star of David. It looks like two overlapping triangles, usually hollow. (They're important, I promise.) You might see The Star of David a lot during the eight days of the Jewish holiday Hanukkah, or on the flag of The State of Israel.

It is theorized by many symbologists (people who study symbols) and historians that The Star of David holds a secret meaning within its symbol. Before I reveal it, you need to be briefed on a little background information.

The ancient symbol for man and woman used to simply be triangles. A male's would be a triangle with one point facing upwards (nicknamed "the blade"), and a female's would have one point facing downwards (nicknamed "the chalice"). Are you starting to connect the dots?

Now, imagine taking the chalice and the blade and overlapping them... what do you get? The Star of David. A perfect balance between male and female. They are perfectly equal. I think the message in it is one the whole world should know! (Also, this is NOT proven fact, just a very strong theory.)
