Rate it with Ryan

Welcome to the first issue of Rate it with Ryan. This is when Ryan (me) will rate things and give them a score out of ten. The first thing I will rate is one of my favorite pets.

Pets come in all shapes and sizes, from great danes, to small fish, but all pets make us feel special. Let's start with the first pet, leopard geckos. Leopard geckos are a species of reptiles called geckos, these animals are known to climb walls and drop their tails when frightened, but leopard geckos are very different. These fascinating creatures actually can't climb things, this is because they lack the fuzz on the bottoms of their feet which help them stick to glass, they don't have this because where these geckos live it is very rocky and tough, so they don't need to stick to things. Regular geckos also are known not to have eyelids, so they need to lick their eyes to keep them clean, leopard geckos have eyelids though. Which brings me to my next point, their scientific name means rule breaker. So now that we learned about them, we learned they have an awesome name, don't climb things, nor lick their eyes. But how do you care for them? They are very low maintenance so they are quit and spend a lot of time sleeping. They also live for 6 to 20 years! These are very interesting to me and they have awesome names, so I would give this pet a 9 1\2 out of 10. What would you rate them? Time the second Rate it with Ryan today we will rate a video game, Minecraft, get ready.

Minecraft has been people's favorite game for years, but why do we love the game so much? After all, it is just a game. I think people like it so much because the way you play it, it's not like a regular game where you have to save a princess from a dragon, you get to build whatever you want whenever you want. You also get to trade things with MPCs, and fight monsters, like zombies, skeletons, and spiders. These are just a few of other things you can fight, like withers, wardens, and the most dangerous, the Ender Dragon. Also if fighting isn't your jam, you can build some amazing things like towers, railroads, and portals to other dimensions like the nether and the end. People who play a lot also have time to build big tunnels and towers stretching all throughout the world. Speaking of the world, you can also change the world to be flat, and a few blocks deep! You can also change the type of difficulty the game is, if you want to build things, be in creative mode, if you want to fight things and challenge yourself, be in survival mode, and if you want to really challenge yourself, go on adventure mode. I find this game very fun and exciting, so I would give it a 10 out of 10. What would you rate the game?

Time for the third Rate it with Ryan! Today we will rate my favorite book, Gone to woods, by Gary Paulsen.

This book is one of my favorite books because it is an autobiography. This means that the author wrote the book about himself! This book also has lots of twists and turns which makes you want to keep reading. The book is about Gary Paulsen (the author) surviving his difficult childhood, being illegally taken on to a boat by his mom, being almost arrested many times, and running away from his family at the age thirteen! Although there is so much more, I want you to read the book and find out. Another reason I love it is because this book is the reason Gary Paulson wrote Hatchet, and many other books. This book also has lovable characters in it, like the librarian, the aunt and uncle, and young Gary Paulsen. The book also has many bad characters, like Gary's parents. This book also makes your heart race with suspense, like when he is on a boat and something bad happens. This is an amazing book so I would give this book a 9 out of 10 what would you rate it after reading it?
