Newsies Jr.

Newsies is a classic musical based off of a true story about newspaper sellers that came together to overcome a business charging extra for papers. This took place a long time ago in 1899 New York city. The original musical starred a famous actor you all might know, Christian Bale. His character Jack must pull together a team of kids to overcome the villain of the story, Joseph Pulitzer. Some of Jack's companions in this story are Davey, school boy with a decent amount of money, along with his little brother Les. Jack also has a best friend named Casey, he got polio which messed up his leg, and that's why he's called Crutchie throughout the show. When all the characters team up along with countless others, they are unstoppable and start to go on strike until they get justice. This catches the attention of a young reporter by the name Catherine Plummer. She tries to help the newsies during the strike. There are several newsies that help with the strike, such as Tommy Boy (my role), Race, Specs, Albert, Nancey, and several others. I hope you enjoy the show Newsies jr. I hope to see you there! :)
